I notice there was no activity between posts an hour apart. Is anyone seeing this or am I doing something wrong?

So there are limits on the length of a posts content? I copied one of my INFORMATIVE posts from my FacePrick wall and only half of it showed up. I tried twice. I assume this is an anomaly?
