Based in Los Angeles, California, Scott has turned his lifelong fascination with slot cars into some of the most influential and celebrated institutions for enthusiasts around the world.
Scott’s interest in slot cars began in childhood during the height of the hobby’s popularity in the 1960s. Over the years, what started as a personal passion evolved into a lifelong devotion one that he now shares with hobbyists, collectors, and history buffs everywhere.
As a successful businessman, Scott became the owner of Electric Dreams, an El Segundo, California–based hub for the slot car community. Under his leadership, Electric Dreams has grown into one of the premier retailers and resources for both new and vintage slot cars, kits, and accessories in the sought-after 1/24 and 1/32 scales.
Driven by his commitment to preserving the heritage of the hobby, Scott also founded the Los Angeles Slot Car Museum, a private collection that celebrates the “Golden Age” of slot car racing. Established in the late 2000s, the museum houses thousands of rare cars, original kits, and memorabilia from the 1960s and early 1970s, and offers both in-person by-appointment visits and an expansive online collection for enthusiasts worldwide.
